Cáceres defibrillators in your pocket
An independent Android app that maps the defibrillators (AED) in the Cáceres municipal catalogue, draws the route to the nearest one and prepares the call to 112. It does not replace emergency services.
What it does
Sheets with address, indoor location and device type; a Route button to the nearest one on foot; a 112 button that opens the dialer and leaves the confirmation to the user.
Built to work offline
The catalogue is bundled in the app and refreshed at launch when online and once a week. The nearest one is computed on the phone, correcting the straight line for the city wall and the railway.
Data and privacy
Open data from the Cáceres City Council; pedestrian barriers from OpenStreetMap (ODbL). Location is only used when pressing Route and is never stored; no accounts or ads.
